Room Rates

Rates are based on double occupancy (2-persons), there is a fee for additional guest(s).   There is a fee of $10 per person, per night for anyone staying in the room over the age of 16 years old.  Falsifying the number of guests on your registration is grounds for immediate eviction without refund. Rate “quotes” can and will change at anytime without notice. A “rate” is only guaranteed with a valid reservation and confirmation number.

Deposit Policy

We require a deposit to guarantee a reservation. This deposit amount is equal to the first night’s room rate plus tax. We accept: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Age

You must be at least 21 years of age to check-in to a hotel room. Valid ID is required check-in.

Cancellation Policy

Atlantic Oceanside Dewey Beach Resort has a 7-day cancellation policy. If you need to cancel a reservation that you made directly with the hotel or on our website, please call the hotel directly on 302-227-8811.  A cancellation is described as but not limited to: date changes, adding a day, subtracting a day, complete cancellation of reservation, and room type changes. 

  • 7 days or more prior to your arrival date, your deposit is fully refundable less a processing fee of $20.00.  
  • 7 days or less prior to your arrival date, your deposit paid is non-refundable.
  • Reservations cancelled within 24 hours of making the reservation are fully refundable unless they are made on the same day as your arrival.

Cancellation Policy for reservations booked via an Online Travel Agency (3rd party hotel booking website) must be processed with the travel agent.

Early Departure

Refunds are not offered for early departure unless in the event of force majeure.

Weather Refund Policy

In the event of a hurricane we follow the policy recommended by this area’s chamber of commerce. Under a tropical storm watch or warning no refunds are given. Under a hurricane watch you may transfer deposits to another date. Under a hurricane warning we will refund or transfer deposits.

Check-In

Check-in time is from 4:00pm.  Early check-in is not guaranteed, however you wish to unwind and head to the beach, you may park your car in the parking lot anytime after 2:00pm the day of your arrival.  Valid photo ID will be required upon check-in along with a major credit card for guarantee.

Check-Out

Check out time is 11:00am. Should you wish to make a day of it at the beach, parking may be available until 2:00pm on the day of your departure, please check with the guest services team at the front desk.

Late Check-Out

Should you wish to extend your check-out time beyond 11:00am, based on availability we offer a late 5:00pm check-out for an additional fee of $50.00. Please check with the office for availability.

Late Arrival

If you plan to check-in after 10:00pm on the day of arrival, please call the hotel to notify our guest services team of a late arrival to guarantee your room.

PETS - Town of DEWEY BEACH

Should you wish to walk the dogs on the beach, please see below the policy for Dewey Beach, Delaware:

  • High Season from May 15 - September 15 dogs are permitted on the beach 9:30am and after 5:30pm.

  • Low Season after September 16 - May 14 dogs may be on the beach anytime from 5:30am to 1:00am daily.

Dogs must be licensed in Dewey Beach.  Licenses are available for purchase 24/7 at the kiosk at the corner of Town Hall Parking Lot at Rte 1 (Coastal Highway) and Rodney St.  The kiosk machine accepts credit cards and cash, but it does not give change. Dewey Beach Town Hall The following licence options are available: 

  • 3 Day Licence - $5.00

  • 8 Day Licence - $10.00

Lifetime License (good for the life of the dog) - $35.00.  Lifetime dog licences and the short-team licenses are available for purchase at Dewey Beach Town Hall.

PETS - HOTEL POLICY

Pets are always welcome but we have limited pet-friendly rooms. We do charge a fee of $30 per pet per night up to 4 pets in a room.  Guests with pets must provide a credit card at check-in. We will permit pets to be left in room unattended for short amounts of time. You will be asked to read and sign a pet policy agreement

At the time of check-in, you will be asked to read and sign a pet policy agreement pertaining to housekeeping services and noise.  You will also be required to provide a credit card to cover any pet fees.

If you wish to have housekeeping services, we ask you to notify the guest services team of when your pet is not in the room and schedule a time for services between 10:00am and 2:00pm.

We expect owners to respect others and follow the Town of Dewey Beach's laws governing clean up after their pets. Dogs must be under control by their owners. Owers must clean up after their pet(s).  Pet owners allowing their pets to urinate on walkways around the hotel may be asked to leave. We enjoy having pets and even have a few weekends that groups of people with pets come to gather. If you are involved with a pet group ask us about arranging a special weekend.

 

Quiet and Noise Policy

Quiet hours are observed nightly from 10:00pm to 8:00am.   The comfort of all guests is a priority. We want every guest to have a peaceful and enjoyable stay, so noise complaints are taken seriously. For your comfort and protection, we will not allow parties or any noise disturbances inside or outside. In the event that you are disturbed by noise coming from this property, please call the front desk by dialing "0" and your concern wil be given prompt attention. 


Parking

We allow one car per room to park complimentary in the parking lot at the Atlantic Oceanside Dewey Beach Resport.  Cars not registered with the office and/or not displaying a valid Atlantic Oceanside Permit will be towed without warning. Parking on our lot is at your own risk, the hotel is not responsible for damage to or from your vehicle.

 

SAFEY AND Security

We provide security on our property high season weekends and special events. Our security guards are provided by a contracted professional security company. The company will enforce our policies with regard to behavior while on our property. The security company’s responsibilities also include towing unauthorized vehicles from our lot.

Damages AND SMOKING

All tenants will be held 100% responsible for any damages done to the property. Rooms are expected to be in the same order as it was upon check in, a cleaning fee of no less than $100 will be assessed for excessive trash not placed in proper receptacle. Extreme damage and/or malicious destruction of property will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Malicious destruction of property is a Class G Felony and is punishable by up to 2 years in prison or a $2500.00 fine or both.

The hotel, guestrooms, public areas and amenities are all non-smoking. Smoking any substance in any of our rooms will result in a damage penalty fee of no less than $250.00 per night of your entire stay.  Smoking is only permitted in designated areas, please see the guest services team for a map of the designated areas.


Privacy Policies

Atlantic Oceanside takes every precaution to protect our customers' information. When customers submit sensitive information via website, it is protected both online and offline. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information, such as a credit card number and/or social security number, that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our reservation form, the lock icon in your web browser becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a reservations specialist) are granted access to personally identifiable information. All employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers' information is protected. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure, locked environment. If you have any questions about the security at our website, you can contact us. Reserving a room at www.atlanticoceanside.com is absolutely safe. We guarantee that with each purchase you make, any personal information you provide is secure. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. In the unlikely event that you are subject to fraudulent charges as a result of making a reservation at atlanticoceanside.com, we will cover your liability up to $50. This applies only if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own while using Atlantic Oceanside's secure server, and providing that you notified your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

Atlantic Oceanside's secure server uses the latest industry standard encryption software (SSL) to protect personal information. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the internet. You will know that your connection becomes secure during the checkout process by seeing the "S" for "secure" in https://... in your browser's address block.
